Background
4-Aminoazobenzene is an intermediate in the production of diazo dyes such as Aniline Yellow, azo dyes and indulines (asphalt additive). The patch test solution of 4-Aminoazobenzene 1% may be used as screener for allergies to azo dyes. Cross reactions possible with para-amino compounds.
