Background

Peppermint oil is the steam-distilled volatile oil from fresh flowering plant Mentha piperita. The constituents inlcude 50% menthol, menthyl acetate, menthyl isovalerate, menthone, inactive pinene, l-limonene, cadinene, phellandrene.
