ALOPECIA TRIANGULARIS CONGENITA home ICD10: Q84.0

Alopecia triangularis congenita (congenital triangular alopecia, Brauer nevus) is een aangeboren driehoekige of ovale kale plek temporaal, meestal eenzijdig, soms tweezijdig. De huid toont geen ontstekingsverschijnselen (roodheid, schilfering, jeuk) en bevat vellusharen of helemaal geen haren. Het is vanaf de geboorte aanwezig maar kan pas later opvallen (tussen 0 en 5 jaar). De plek blijft stabiel aanwezig, wordt niet groter of kleiner en er ontstaan ook geen andere plekken. De oorzaak is onbekend. Het is geen cicatriciƫle alopecia, de haarzakjes zijn onderontwikkeld of ontbreken geheel. Kinderen die het hebben zijn meestal kerngezond. In zeer zeldzame gevallen kan het onderdeel zijn van een syndroom zoals phakomatosis pigmentovascularis, mentale retardatie en epilepsie, of aplasia cutis congenita.

DD: alopecia areata, status na tinea capitis, alopecia cicatricialis nno.

Therapie:
Geen. Eventueel haartransplantatie of totale excisie bij kleine plekken.
